Sabine Three-Day Release Window
The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office does not publish a verified rolling 72-hour release view. The official site and app were checked on July 20, 2026, and no three-day report, release roster, or public specification was found. That absence is separate from the lack of a 24-hour feed. It leaves no official URL, column list, refresh cycle, retention period, or rule about which kinds of departures would count in such a window.
A 72-hour request should not merely ask for “the weekend list.” Name the first and last date, the clock time at both ends, and Central Time. State whether the interval includes both endpoints. Three calendar days and the 72 hours immediately before staff reads an email can produce different records. The precise interval also makes a later correction easier to discuss because each event can be tested against the same boundary.
Request Sabine 72-Hour Releases
Sabine Parish uses two local correctional sites. The Detention Center on Detention Center Road houses male inmates, while the courthouse jail on South Capitol Street houses female inmates. An interfacility move can cross a report boundary without putting anyone back in the community. A request should cover both sites or clearly name the one at issue.
- Write the exact beginning and ending timestamps in Central Time and state whether endpoints are inclusive.
- Ask the sheriff for an existing release report or database export covering that interval, rather than asking staff to create new analysis.
- Request each booking number, actual release timestamp, release type or authority, transfer flag, and receiving agency when applicable.
- Ask whether deaths, escapes, court movements, and transfers are coded as releases and request that each category remain labeled.

For one person, supply a date of birth when appropriate, booking number if known, and approximate admission date. Ask whether the exact booking ended, where the person went, and what authority controlled the departure. Sabine 72-Hour Release Fields
Because no public Sabine three-day feed exists, these are recommended request fields. They should not be presented as columns in a live sheriff product. The booking identifier and event times let the requester sort distinct custody episodes, while the authority and destination show whether the event was a release to the community or only a handoff.

Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure art. 228 makes the booking book and booking summaries open for inspection and names basic booking fields. It does not promise every requested release field in one public interface. A focused request gives the custodian a clear record series and allows the office to identify any exception or missing field. No local release-record price was verified, so an assumed fee should never be published.
Note: Ask staff to preserve the source field labels, since “out time,” “release time,” and “entry time” may refer to different moments.
Sabine Weekend Release Checks
A three-day interval is helpful around weekends because it can hold several distinct kinds of activity: a bond posted after a court action, a time-served release processed after paperwork arrives, a transfer to another custodian, and a database entry posted after the event. Research found no Sabine-specific weekend release schedule, holiday procedure, or fixed processing hour. Do not predict when a person will leave based on the day of the week.
Build the check around evidence rather than assumptions. The sheriff record establishes actual departure. A Sabine Clerk of Court minute or signed order explains the judicial authority. A bond reduction, recognizance order, dismissal, or time-served sentence may allow release, but another case, warrant, sentence, or hold may keep the person in custody. If the release occurred late in the requested period, ask whether a report includes event time or only records entered before a batch closed.

The image helps route a call to the correct site. It does not show who left custody, when a release was processed, or whether a person transferred elsewhere.
Why Sabine Has No Feed
The official sheriff web-app manifest is the clearest source for the public feature set. At the checked date it exposed News, Corrections, Inmate Information, Sex Offenders, Most Wanted, tips, and contacts. It contained no inmate roster, recent-release component, 24-hour view, or 72-hour view. The Inmate Information page serves people already in custody with communication and account information; its title does not make it a custody lookup.
The selective News archive can retain a post and add status words later. That feature makes it a useful historical lead for a named case, yet it does not create a fixed three-day population. An old item may say someone bonded, received O.R. release, or remained in jail at the time of the update. It cannot establish everyone released in the same interval or the exact physical departure for the named person.
Government retention also outlasts many web displays. No official online retention rule was found. Louisiana R.S. 44:36 provides a general minimum when no other period or approved schedule controls, but the Sabine records custodian must identify the applicable series. The absence of a public row can result from the interface design, a later correction, a lawful confidentiality change, or a collection gap. It is not proof that no booking or release occurred.
Confirm Sabine Release Events
Use the reporting system that matches the legal custody. For a local Sabine booking, call the jail and pair its out-time record with the Eleventh Judicial District case. For a Louisiana state sentence, the DPS&C inmate-information page routes users to LAVNS and provides the automated locator at 225-383-4580. DPS&C says LAVNS information is updated every 24 hours and includes incarcerated people plus people under probation or parole supervision. That cadence is not designed to settle an urgent gate-out question.
A community-supervision result supports that incarceration ended while the sentence continues. A projected release date is only planning information. Federal sentenced custody belongs in the BOP locator, while a federal pretrial release must be checked through the court and holding facility. ICE ODLS covers current and some recent immigration custody. A Sabine-to-ICE handoff is a transfer, even though the person has left the parish jail.

Sabine Three-Day Versus Same-Day
A 72-hour request is best for a continuous multi-day period, a weekend, or a span in which the exact day is uncertain. A 24-hour request is better when the calendar day is already known and a tighter result will reduce unrelated records. Neither request becomes an official public feed merely because staff provides an existing export. Preserve the request wording, response date, timezone, and any explanation of the fields.
Do not build a three-day result by combining a single official one-day response with unsourced rows. Keep each source distinct.
